My little lie that’s not complete
This isn’t me, this random poetry
It all looks and acts like a falling world
It all looks and acts just like it should
I trick myself to believe -
- in some form of purity
There’s no such thing, there’s no such thing
This is what I am, this is what is killing me
but with you in my heart I could forget the world
but with you in my heart I could forget the world
Now I’ve got this clever new disguise
It’s a mask of all the lies
I tell myself, I keep inside
Its just enough to get me by
Suffocate in your eyes collapse on your lips
That same old port that’s launched a thousand ships
And the only thing that I want this bad
is the one fucking thing that I’ve never had
So how can I pretend I’m free?
How can I not feel a thing?
Throwing up the memories
Leaving you in tears again
And not all of paradise is lost…
Not all of paradise is lost…
Not all of paradise is lost, etc…
Written in response to the climate crisis, “Leviathan” is a brooding and beautifully unsettling batch of dark ambient songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 16, 2023
Every sound here is made using Megan Mitchell's voice, even though the music often sounds more like Earth’s vibrations than a human singing. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 28, 2023
The 17 mindbending songs on this compilation represent minimalist experimental music at its best, a collage of blips and static. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 3, 2022
